The Maidens, Alex Michaelides˛ It’s one of those books I’ll remember for its aesthetic, but
maybe not for the story. While I loved the setting and could totally see myself binge-watching a Netflix adaptation of this, the actual story fell a little short. I had too high hopes, ★★★☆☆.
