Peacefully, on December 22, 1999 in Toronto, after a brief illness, in her 92nd year. Mourned by her son, Dr. Thomas Barcsay, of Toronto; her daughter, Mme. François Eschapasse nee Eva Barcsay of Paris, France; her daughter-in-law, Susan Baxter; her son-in-law François Eschapasse; her grandchildren, Katherine Barcsay, Anne Eschapasse, Thomas Eschapasse, Christophe Eschapasse and Caroline Algaron and her great grandson, Mathis Eschapasse. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. on January 3, 2000 in the Newman Chapel on the campus of the University of Toronto, 89 St. George Street, Toronto, Ontario.
