ßa̲c̲k̲g̲r̲o̲u̲n̲d̲: As the eldest son, Kazran was pressured by his father to be the perfect child while also taking care of his young brother. Lacking a maternal fig ure and being neglected by their father, Kaz only fulfilled one request. While he always got his brother`s back and ensured he didn`t lack any thing, he always got into trouble as a kid and teenager. Skipping school, drinking and taking drugs, getting a girl pregnant... He did everything he could to get his father`s attention, even if it was in a negative way. Kaz was punished for his mistakes and whatever Mark did, making him re sent the old man as he grew up.
Ꝉo̲s̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲C̲o̲n̲t̲r̲o̲l̲:
At 16 years old, he left a party intoxicated and got in his car with
two other friends. As he was driving, Kazran lost control of the w
heel and crashed into another car. He, the other driver, and one
of his friends all got minor injuries, while his second friend went
into a coma and died a few days later. Kazran`s father used his I
nfluence as the sheriff to get a softer punishment for his son, wh
o spent months doing community service and had to pay half a
million dollars to the family of his deceased friend. After this incid
ent, his father no longer saw him as a son, and Kazran left to join
the army.
A major part of his becoming a man was the 5 years :Ɛv̲e̲r̲y̲t̲h̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲C̲h̲a̲n̲g̲e̲d̲
he spent in the army. It gave him the opportunity to l
earn how to follow orders and have a sense of contr
ol over his life. He created strong bonds with his coll
eagues over life and death situations. Following a mi
ssion, he failed to save half of his team when they w
ere attacked, and he barely got out alive. Developing
PTSD, he needed a break and went back to the Stat
es, crashing on his brother`s couch for a couple of m
months.
↻a̲r̲e̲e̲r̲ ̲&̲ ̲P̲r̲i̲v̲a̲t̲e̲ ̲L̲i̲f̲e̲:
He joined the police academy and moved to Boston, where he became a
detective in the Homicide department. Kazran never let a woman into his
heart, even if his bed always welcomed them. Because of his mother`s af
fair and leaving, he never sought a serious relationship, thinking the cycle
was going to repeat itself. So his love life is characterized by a long string
of hookups - women who he doesn`t bother to remember their name. H
e is great at teamwork, and even if he keeps a playful attitude towards his
colleagues, he does understand the concept of collectivism and group well
l-being.
↻u̲r̲r̲e̲n̲t̲ Ꝉi̲f̲e̲: After years of barely saying "Happy Birthday!" or "Merry Christmas!", Kaz receives a phone call from his brother who offers him a job inside LAPD. Despite not keeping in touch permanently and not being so close, his lo yalty towards his younger brother pushes him to accept and head straig ht to California. Even though he gets the job of Lucas Rhodes as a repla cement, he starts to like it there and considers the option of staying per manently.
